🥊The UFC is a business... And a damn good one. Which means they are storytellers. Make no mistake about it, they are trying to tell a story. Because #STORIES #SELL.
🥊I believe they pushed this fight (tonight) because they want ATLEAST one more BIG money grab from Conor. My assumption is a final fight with Nate Diaz. They picked cowboy because he's almost 37... On a 2 loss run... & Losing name recognition, but he still has a decent enough name in the UFC (with even losing 13 fights).
🥊So, they want Conor to win...and made it easy to do so. That way, they could build up his next one for months & sell a ton of PPVs.
🃏I am not a fan of Conor. At all. I think he went too far trying to be the bad boy, that it made him look like a joke.
🥊However, I do believe he will win this fight tonight. His brand is far superior than cowboys, so it's only best for #business. And it would be a great story. (Remember..The world loves comeback stories)
🥊And since I am a huge Dana White fan, I hope that is EXACTLY what happens.
🥊Because I respect great businesses/business people... And damn, I hope UFC gets what they want.
🥊Just watch how they build people up, make them into stars, & get the entire world to care about them. Brilliant work.
🥊Boxing has neglected that storytelling for many years ... And it shows.
🔴You want people to care about your business? Be like Dana. Get really good at #storytelling.
